Sufabel Community Development Food Support Assistance in North-East Nigeria
Background:
Sufabel Community Development Initiative implemented an integrated Food Security Relief Assistance to less Privilege, Care Givers, Orphan and Vulnerable Children, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and host communities in Gombe State Nigeria.
The project was funded by Sufabel Community Development Initiative was aimed at providing food and Non-Food Items (NFI) to Two Hundred and Fifty (250) less Privilege, Care Givers, Orphan and Vulnerable Children IDPs and Host Communities across Four (4) Local Governments Areas (LGAs) in Gombe State.
Project Objectives
The Specific objectives of the intervention were to:
- Improve food availability and access through food assistance via in kind/cash and voucher based assistant to vulnerable household (250 less Privilege, Care Givers, Orphan and Vulnerable Children, IDPs and Host communities)
- Improve the life standard of 5000 less Privilege, Care Givers, Orphan and Vulnerable Children IDPs and members of host communities in 4 LGAs of Gombe by 2020.
